Abstract

This paper explains about the development of sales and forecasting system in U.D. SIBINDO spare part shop using fuzzy time series method. Fuzzy time series is used as the method for this application because this method uses past sales data to project the sales data that will occur in a period of one month later. Forecasting in this application will receive three inputs, which are the start time of forecasting, weight, and category of items that will be forecasted. Received inputs will be processed using fuzzy time series method, so the application can generate outputs which are amount of an item for sale in one month later, the highest amount of items and the lowest amount of items from forecasting results of the selected category. By using this application, the owners can improve performance in product sales and save costs spent in providing the products that will be sold.
